When you consider to make house or a commercial place what was first thought or dream about a place . in my opinion furniture or glamour of interior is the foremost reason or thought .structure or exterior finish is secondary to live . around the world people always ask for inner or interior comfort like or for example when you ask your family member or what do you want in house he or she will answer for a big kitchen good storage or a boy may dream of his aim like lawn tennis player may like to have a machine in his house future shooter want to decorate  his bedroom as a shooting range practice field as much liberty is there .
These days a place must be tailormade as we have nuclear family,  competition is there  
Then a < jealous> factor always among human beings . 
So must decide your fittings furniture  monuments artifax first . if some medical urgency or history is in family must plan according to it in architect level ,otherwise you will have money expenditure on fittings you love most payments are gone then you are fighting with architect  for place with vendor to not to charge freight  on favourite artifax or fittings you returned.
Place for temple for washing for study for drawing room for car for kitchen etc. observing yourself your family activity give psychological idea of their preferences. PLAN WITH THESE INPUTS & MUST INCORPORATE THEM IN ARCHITECT LEVEL.
